Intensive Community Wrap-Around Services

Intensive Community Wrap-Around Services

Intensive Community Wrap-Around (ICWA) Services are in-home and community-based supports designed for adults between the ages of 18 and 30 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-occurring Mental Health Diagnoses. ICWA Services are delivered through an interdisciplinary Community Treatment Team, consisting of a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst/Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Mental Health Clinician, Coach, and Peer Support Specialist. The team works closely with the individual and any caregivers to safety plan and complete a Comprehensive Assessment that captures the individual’s current abilities and needs. Using a blend of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Mental Health Treatment, a Treatment Plan is implemented to address prioritized needs and self-identified goals. The goal of ICWA Services is to increase the individual’s overall independence and stability, participation and engagement in community, and access to resources. Referrals for ICWA Services are made through the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) or the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH).
