The campaign, called #GivingTuesdayNow, aims to inspire donations and citizen engagement to support communities and nonprofits around the world. Communities and individuals are encouraged to help a neighbor, advocate for an issue, donate, or take other actions on behalf of first responders and frontline workers, including the nonprofits serving the people most affected by the pandemic. #GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

We are greatly in need of masks and other critical personal protective equipment, food and hot meals, activity items for our clients who are confined to their homes, and bonuses or gifts for our front-line workers who are sheltering in place with our residents in quarantined houses.
