First Episode of Psychosis

Our Discovery team is a Coordinated Specialty Care program for people ages 18-30 who may be experiencing early psychotic symptoms. This may include hallucinations and/or delusions. The team consists of a team lead, a psychiatrist, a young adult peer mentor, and a vocational specialist. They draw upon other disciplines as individually relevant, including professionals with substance use disorder expertise. The basic program components are:

• Family support and education
• Psychotherapy
• Medication management
• Supported education and employment
• Peer support
