The Outpatient Program offers a comprehensive range of adult treatment services. Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors and nurses, the goal of all treatment is to enable each individual to improve his or her quality of life by working towards recovery. Services include individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychiatric assessment and medication treatment.

In 2009, The Edinburg Center was one of only three agencies state-wide to be selected by the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP) to pilot a "CommonGround Approach To Supporting Consumers' Use of Psychiatric Medications As Part of the Recovery Process" developed by Pat Deegan, PhD. This web-based software program is used to emphasize client choice as a cornerstone value of recovery and empowerment and encourages persons with mental illnesses to take a proactive approach to enhancing their feelings of well-being.

The Outpatient Clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance plans. Our staff is knowledgeable about third-party reimbursement and can assist with billing concerns. The clinic is licensed by the Department of Public Health.
