In-Home and Outpatient Mental Health Services
The Outpatient Program at The Edinburg Center offers a comprehensive range of treatment services focused on positive aging. Aging presents many challenges that can impact natural ways of coping. Loss of a loved one, changes in living arrangements, isolation brought on by illness or decreased mobility are all possible stressors that impact seniors.
Services include: diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, individual, couples, and family counseling, medication evaluation and monitoring. Upon intake, a member of our professional staff which consists of psychiatrists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors and nurses, will conduct a comprehensive evaluation. An effective treatment plan which supports positive aging will subsequently be developed with each senior which addresses improving the individual's quality of life.
Services are provided at our Waltham Clinic site or can be arranged in the community at the senior's home if the ability to travel is a barrier to treatment.
