Day Treatment
Transitions Support I (Van Driver)
Part time position (20 hours) available working with adults in the Transitions Psychiatric Day Treatment Program providing weekday transportation of clients to-and-from various sites in Center vans in a safe and courteous manner; providing accurate observations of client issues and informing program director; modeling interpersonal skills with clients by encouraging communication, giving direct and appropriate constructive feedback, and facilitating relationships; respecting clients rights, preferences and choices.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid MA driver’s license and a good driving record
Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
Substance Abuse Specialist
Full-time (40 hr) position available providing and coordinating substance abuse assessment, treatment, planning and service delivery tailored to the individual needs of clients with dual disorders of mental illness and substance abuse utilizing an assertive outreach model as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team.
Qualification: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitative counseling or related field required. At least 2 yrs experience providing rehabilitative services to adults with mental illnesses required. At least 1 year supervisory experience providing substance abuse treatment interventions to persons with co-occurring psychiatric mental illness. Certification as an addictions counselor preferred. PACT or assertive community treatment experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
Psychiatrist
Part time position (20 hours) available as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team which utilizes an assertive recovery-oriented outreach model. Share clinical responsibility with Team Leader for developing and monitoring clinical treatment and supervising staff delivery of clinical services. Provide medical supervision to nursing staff. Provide psychopharmacological treatment to all PACT clients. Provide supportive therapy. Provide crisis evaluations. Consult with families. Provide outreach services in clients’ homes or other community locations as needed.
Qualifications & Experience: M.D. Board certified or Board eligible in psychiatry. Licensed to practice medicine. Experience with serious mental illness required. Knowledge of PACT model preferred. Valid driver's license required.
Peer Specialist
Full-time (40 hour) position available providing essential experience and consultation to a self-contained interdisciplinary team that utilizes an assertive outreach model to promote a culture in which each consumer’s subjective experiences, points of view and preferences are recognized, respected and integrated into all treatment, rehabilitation and support services. Participates in all program planning processes and provides direct services that promote consumer recovery, self-determination and decision-making.
Qualifications: Experience in the Mental Health field required. Experience as a peer advocate or peer specialist strongly preferred. CPS strongly preferred. BA preferred. Personal experience with recovery from a psychiatric condition required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Community Based Flexible Supports
Program Director
Full-time position available. We are looking for a Program Director in our Community Based Flexible Support (CBFS) service, which offers high quality, person-centered rehabilitation services to individual diagnosed with mental illnesses. Persons served may also have co-occurring diagnoses of PDD or other developmental disabilities. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of a CBFS Residential Program and for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of a CBFS Division. S/he will ensure services are recovery-oriented and inclusive of families and significant others. S/he will also ensure adherence to Edinburg Center/CBFS Services policies and procedures and compliance with all state and local licensing / certification requirements and regulations. Participates in planning, coordinating and documenting the IAP process with division consumers using recovery-oriented and evidence-based practices
Qualifications
Masters degree in relevant clinical field or matriculation in such a program required. Minimum of one year clinical experience working with persons diagnosed with mental illness required. Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. First Aid, CPR and MAP certification within three months of hire required. Valid driver’s license required.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Part-time position (32 hours) available in our new CBFS program in Belmont providing nursing services such as medication administration (including injections), design and implementation of individual health & wellness plans, and coordination of medical services. Also work as part of a team to provide recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services, case coordination, advocacy, support, and to adults with mental health issues living in a CBFS residential treatment program. Provides support and training on medical issues to clients and team members. Supervises staff as assigned.
Qualifications: Certification and experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. BA/BS preferred. Experience in the field of mental health required. Valid driver’s license required. Licensed Practical Nurse
Full-time position available in CBFS Services at a residential program providing medical oversight along with recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services, case coordination, advocacy, support, linkage, and outreach to adults with mental health issues living in the community. Supervises staff as assigned.
Qualifications: LPN and at least two years of experience in the mental health field required. BA or BS preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience in relevant evidenced based practices preferred. Valid driver’s license required. First Aid and CPR certification within three months of hire, as required. Clinical Director
Full-time position available. We are looking for a Clinical Director for one of our Community Based Flexible Support (CBFS) service teams, which offers high quality, person-centered rehabilitation services to individual diagnosed with mental illnesses. Persons served may also have co-occurring diagnoses of PTSD or substance abuse. The Clinical Director will oversee the clinical and rehabilitative operations of a team of outreach and residential staff. S/he will perform all intakes and assessments of persons referred for service. The Clinical Director will train and supervise the staff in developing Individual Action Plans with consumers and in documenting consumer progress. S/he will ensure services are recovery-oriented and inclusive of families and significant others. S/he will also ensure adherence to Edinburg Center/CBFS Services policies and procedures and compliance with all state and local licensing/certification requirements and regulations.
Qualifications: Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts and 2 years post Master’s work experience required. Training and experience in Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant
Oart time position available in our new CBFS program in Belmont providing basic care services such as assistance with bathing and grooming, monitoring medical equipment, and checking vital signs. Also work as part of a team to provide recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services, case coordination, advocacy, support, and to adults with mental health issues living in a CBFS residential treatment program.

RESPITE COUNSELOR
Part-time (20-hour) position available in an innovative, community-based, step-down program to assist mental health consumers to avoid unnecessary hospitalization or transition successfully from the hospital to community living. Primary responsibilities include providing direct client services in a 24-hour respite component.
Qualifications: BA and at least 1 year experience with adult mental health population; experience in assertive community treatment (ACT) model programs and knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
Respite Counselor II
20 hour position available in an innovative community-based program providing step-down and diversionary services to mental health clients. Primary responsibilities include providing direct client services in a 24-hour respite component. Hours: Thursday 3 PM – 9 PM; Saturday 9 AM – 11 PM
Qualifications: BA in MH related field; at least 1 year experience with adult MH population; experience in assertive community treatment (ACT) model programs and knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
Potter Place
COUNSELOR I – ASSISTANT WORK-AREA COORDINATOR
Full-time (40 hour) position available in a community-based, clubhouse model program. Must have the ability to coordinate with a team of members and staff in all aspects of program functions. Responsibilities include instruction, guidance and support in pre-vocational and vocational needs of program participants.
Clinical
CASE COORDINATOR
Full time position (40 hrs) working as a part of a Clinical Team that provides a range of support services including case management, behavioral interventions and skill acquisition to individuals primarily in their homes. Persons served include adults and youth with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required; experience working with youth with emotional disturbances strongly preferred.
Training/experience in applied behavior analysis preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
In-Home Behavioral Services
In-Home Behavior Therapist
Fee-for-service position working with youth and their families to treat challenging behaviors that interfere with the youth’s unsuccessful functioning. Responsibilities include conducting functional behavioral assessments, development of individualized behavioral goals and plans, supervision of Behavior Monitor and coordination of treatment. Primarily late afternoon and evening hours.
Minimum Qualifications: MA in human service-related field with at least two years of experience conducting functional behavior assessments of youth with serious emotional and behavioral disturbance, designing / monitoring behavior plans based on the assessment, and training parents/caregivers to implement positive behavior plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or enrolled in training program leading to certification preferred.
Developmental Disabilities
CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST
Part-time position available as part of a Developmental Disabilities Clinical Team. Responsibilities include: clinical assessments, treatment planning/documentation, medication prescription and management, patient education and supportive counseling, and collaboration with other providers.
Qualifications: M.S.N. or M.S. in nursing. Certified / eligible by Massachusetts as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry. Qualified to prescribe and manage medications. Experience as a prescribing nurse required. Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
