EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
40 hour position available developing, directing, and providing work-related services to persons with mental illnesses, utilizing an assertive outreach model as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing strengths & needs and planning and implementing an on-going employment strategy to enable each person served to obtain and retain a job.
Qualifications: BA/BS required. BA/BS in rehabilitation counseling or related field preferred. At least 1 year experience providing vocational/employment services required. At least 1 year of supervised experience in providing individualized job development and supported employment on behalf of persons with physical disabilities or mental health issues preferred. PACT or assertive community treatment experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Reliable transportation required.
